Chris Elliott’s final PADI Rescue Diver training

Chris Elliott’s final PADI Rescue Diver training. 30th June 2018

Chris & his partner ( Joe Ingram ) drove down to Brixham the night before & slept in there stylish VW camper.

I met with them the next day @ freshwater quarry carpark.
We had a pre-dive briefing & I explained what was going to happen etc.

Our first senario was the infamous “unconscious, non – breathing diver at the surface”.
Chris executed this with ease & professionalism.
The second scenario I decided to do was a diver with stress underwater & again Chris handled my issues, calmly & instinctively.

We finished off with a little bimble around the bay.
As we dived back I felt a pull on my fins and there was an adult bull seal.
I got to admit, I was a tad worried but Chris the Rescue Diver took care of me.

We had a great laugh afterwards & with input from Joe also ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
We finished off with a nice cup of tea & Cornish scone.

An amazing day in beautiful scenery & great company, this is what scuba diving is all about.
