PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
This course can be taken after completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification. It’s titled PADI Advanced Open Water Diver because it advances your diving knowledge & skills.
That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor Jeff.
You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.
Price includes all course materials and certification fees. Equipment rental & boat dives or inland diving sites are additional costs. We also offer the facility to study the theory of diving through manuals to take home. (for both student & instructor)

All PADI Advanced Open Water courses are taught in small numbers to a maximum of 4 students per instructor.
PADI’s Advanced Open Water course is a course designed to enhance your competence in the water. The course is 5 adventure dives of which 2 (deep and navigation are compulsory) you may choose from a list of adventure dives for your remaining 3 modules (night diving, underwater photography, underwater videography, search & recovery, dry suit diving, boat diving, peak performance buoyancy, wreck diving, fish ID to name but a few). Upon completion of the Advanced Open Water course you will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres anywhere in the world.
All advanced open water courses are taught in small numbers of a maximum of 4 students per instructor. The course consists of 5 knowledge reviews and 5 open water dives. Price includes all course materials, boat dives and certification fee’s.
To be eligible for the PADI Advanced Open water course you must:
- have a PADI Open Water diver certification or the equivalent from another dive agency
- be a minimum of 12 years old
- complete the PADI medical form
