EFR INSTRUCTOR TRAINER DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES: EFR Instructor Trainer denotes the highest instructor achievement in the Emergency First Response © system. In addition to Instructor duties, conducts the following EFR instructor training courses:

EFR Instructor Retraining Course
and the EFR Care for Children Instructor Upgrade

PADI Rescue Diver & EFR (First Aid)

Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver. It’s challenging, yet very rewarding. Jeffs Diving World provides the PADI Rescue Diver and EFR 1st Aid Course to become a licensed PADI Rescue Diver. As a Local PADI Scuba Instructor Jeff offers you the course as individuals or groups.

Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature.

All PADI dive courses are taught in small numbers to a maximum of 4 students per instructor.

To be eligible for the PADI Rescue course you must :

complete the PADI medical form
already have a licence for diving to open water level

PADI EFR (Emergency First Response) is based on the principles of ILCOR (International Liason Committee On Resuscitation).

Emergency First Response courses encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporate Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training and emergency oxygen use.

The Emergency First Response courses build lay rescuer confidence to provide care when faced with a medical emergency.

Both courses ( adult & child EFR ). Comprise of knowledge reviews & final exams. Adult efr has 15 skills ,both primary & secondry care. Child efr has 12 skills. They both incorporate scenarios to put there newly acquired skills into practise.
