Just finished my open water ccourse with Jeff’s Diving World. Would recommend, instructor very experienced and professional. Course itself was easy to understand and well organised. Will be in contact again for my advance diving course.
I met Jeff in April 2020 and quickly realised how passionate he was about scuba diving and teaching and of course the environment. I began joining him on days to the coast whilst he was teaching and having a great love for water myself, I decided in August 2020 to have a go. My first breathes under the water were at Brixham breakwater it was amazing, I loved it and shortly afterwards, I started my Open Water course. As jeffs partner he did not treat me any differently to any other student. He taught me professionally, corrected me when needed and also praised me when I done well. I then went on to complete my Advanced Open Water which I found difficult as I was surprisingly afraid of the deep water and due to poor reading eyesight I found it difficult to read my compass underwater. Jeff remained patient when he realised my difficulties and my fear soon disappeared and my new contact lenses improved my eyesight underwater 100 per cent. My rescue diver course is almost complete, this has been my favourite course as it is fun and I know how I can safely help someone else if needed in the water. We are due to go to Thailand in a week and I will finish the last few skills over there in warm water! Yay! I love scuba so much I have now invested in a dry suit and an underwater camera with housing. I will now be able to get in the water all year round with Jeff and his pupils as an extra safety measure and also continue my new love of photography under the water. I will be completing my Dry Suit course in a couple of months and I also would like to start my Dive Master this year!

A quick shout out for Jeffsdivingworld. Having completed some online research of diving schools in the south west I selected JeffsDivingWorld. The pricing structure was clear and competitive. Importantly for me I was able to book one to one training; and the school was local to me in Weston-super-Mare. Jeff is an enthusiastic and patient instructor who brings to life the PADI material and tasks with interesting and often amusing anecdotes based on his extensive diving experience gain teaching and working in the UK and abroad. “My Daughter had expressed an interest in scuba diving for a long time so as soon as she was old enough I made contact with Jeff. We Started with a tailor made diving experience where Jeff did a one to one pool dive session. Jeff’s passion for scuba diving made it fun and interesting after which she was hooked! We immediately enrolled her on the PADI junior open water diving course and Jeffs one to one training was pitched perfectly for her age and ability giving her the confidence to progress quickly. I started my Dive Master training with Jeff on 27th March. Completing my exams and an emergency first response refresh. Since then, it has been fantastic. Jeff is an exceptional instructor and a now good friend. Jeff allowed me to push myself to the best of my abilities and provided exceptional training and feedback to allow me to become a competent and confident PADI professional. Jeff will work hard to meet any requirements you have and will try to make sure the course is taught to the highest standard but is also thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this course with Jeff’s diving world. England has some of the most challenging but enchanting waters and becoming a PADI Pro in England is well worth it.

I completed the rescue diver and first aid course with Jeff. Top guy who is always happy to help. Since completing the course I’ve also had the chance to join him on some organised Dives. Highly recommended.
Jeff has made getting back into diving a comfortable and fun experience. After a 9 year hiatus I decided to redo my EFR and take a Drysuit speciality. Jeff makes learning new skills a fun experiance. He has an ego free aproach which is refreshing. This along with his seemingly endless font of diving knowledge and willingness to share it makes him one of the very few Instructors that I would recomend.
My experience with Jeff’s diving world has been a fantastic introduction to the open water course. His enthusiasm for diving is clear from the offset and is highly passionate which is evident from the way Jeff teaches and manages his courses. Overall, I have been thoroughly impressed by the course and everything I’ve learnt in that time.
