Summary
We are once again running our popular 1-day Dive Accident Responder Course, also know as DARC, specifically designed to meet the needs of recreational divers. Could you manage a diving accident? Would you know what to do if your buddy surfaced unconscious? What does it feel like to be recompressed? These are just some of the topics covered on this one day event at our chamber facility in Plymouth.
Description
Practical training: Basic Life Support (BLS) with emphasis on dealing with a diving casualty and oxygen administration.
Lectures: on Decompression Illness (DCI) – avoiding it, recognising it, dealing with it and real life case studies of diving accidents.
Sea Survival Scenarios: To be confirmed.
Dry Dive: Experience a dry dive in the DDRC chamber (valid medical or self-certificate is required)
