DESCRIPTION:🦭 Lundy Island Dive Weekend 2026\n“Let’s go diving with the seals!” \nJoin Ocean View Diving Services for one of our most popular annual trips. We are headed back to the crystal-clear waters of Lundy Island\, where the Atlantic meets the Bristol Channel\, for a weekend of world-class interactions with resident Grey Seals and historic wrecks. \n📅 Event Details\n\n\nDates: Saturday\, 4th October 2026 \n\n\nLocation: Departing from Ilfracombe Harbour\, North Devon \n\n\nCost: £115 per diver \n\n\n\n🤿 The Diving Experience\nLundy is a Marine Protected Area known for its incredible biodiversity. This trip is designed to offer a mix of playful mammal encounters and scenic exploration. \n\n\nSeal Encounters: Most dives will be in shallow\, sheltered bays specifically chosen for high interaction with Lundy’s friendly seal colony. \n\n\nWreck & Reef: Depending on weather conditions and group preference\, we may explore one of Lundy’s famous wrecks (Max depth 30m). \n\n\nThe Boat: We will be diving from a comfortable charter vessel equipped with a diver lift on the rear for easy\, stress-free re-entry. \n\n\nTotal Dives: 2 dives \n\nAlso hot drinks & choc biscuits which has to be the clincher.\n\n\n📋 Important Information\n\n\nQualification Level: Suitable for PADI Open Water (or equivalent) and above. \n\n\nEquipment: Divers are responsible for their own gear and cylinders. We recommend bringing two cylinders per day (fills are available on land in Ilfracombe). \n\n\nAccommodation: This booking is for diving only. There are numerous excellent B&Bs and hotels in Ilfracombe to suit all budgets. We recommend booking early as September is a busy month! \n\n\nRopes Away: Exact departure times from Ilfracombe Harbour will be confirmed closer to the date. Please allow ample time for loading and kitting up. \n\n\n\n🎟️ How to Book\nSpaces on the Lundy trip fill up very fast.
